POSTSCRIPT

Now, I'm writing on Thanksgiving Day, 2024.  Have we becoming wiser in the last four years? Some have, but not enough of us. We are in dire straights.  More from me later. First, I have to disengage and watch the Macy's parade.

I'm writing this on October 8, 2020. By the time you read this, time will have moved on.  Protest this year have been about events that have exposed the deep racism that exists within our culture, and that of others.  Covid hit us and for a few weeks the skies cleared measurably.  There was a moment of hope.  But, it disappeared quickly and we returned to an unsustainable "normal".  The pandemic is global.  Not much else is.  Our shared Global Environmental Emergency is, and it will require all of us to work together.  That's where the biggest challenge resides.  All of us working together.

Can we do it?

Will we?
